Non-elderly disabled (NED) housing choice voucher assistance enables non-elderly disabled households lease affordable private housing of their choice.   The West Palm Beach Housing Authority (WPBHA) will open its NED Waitlist on Monday, May 25th, 2026 at 8:00am.   Only income eligible disabled households whose head, spouse or co-head is non-elderly (under age 62) and disabled may receive a NED voucher.   Disabled households can be any of the following:

• A single person with a disability living alone;
• A family in which the head of household or spouse is disabled;
• Two or more related adults with disabilities living together;
• Two or more unrelated disabled adults living together; or
• One or more disabled adults living with one or more live-in aides.

Families with only a minor child with a disability do not qualify.  

No paper applications are available.  Please do not come to the WPBHA offices.   This process is limited to an on-line process.   Interested applicants must apply on this website (www.wpbha.org) beginning Monday, May 25th 2026.  To apply please click on the APPLY NOW link below.   The Waitlist will CLOSE on Sunday, July 26th 2026 at 11:59 p.m. 

How to Apply
Applications will be accepted online only through the WPBHA's website at: www.wpbha.org. No paper applications will be available, and applicants should not visit WPBHA offices to apply. Beginning May 25, 2026, applicants may apply by selecting the "Apply Now" link below.

Applicants may only submit one application per family.  

To complete the application on line you must have the following information for you and all family members who will be a part of the household.

1. Full names of all family members
2. Dates of birth for all family members
3. Social Security numbers for all family members
4. Complete mailing address, including city and ZIP code
5. Telephone or cell phone number
6. Total family gross household income per year

Applications submitted without the above required information will not be processed.

If you do not provide the above information your application will not be processed.
