The West Palm Beach Housing Authority
(WPBHA) is a public agency that was established in 1938 after the
original Housing Act of 1937 became law. The agency was the ninth
housing authority created in the State of Florida. The WPBHA was established
to provide safe, decent and affordable housing to individuals and
families with limited financial resources. The WPBHA owns and operates
the Conventional Housing Program and owns 712 public

quality of life for our residents by offering them educational, self-sufficiency
and recreational activities.
