Waiting List Closed

Currently, West Palm Beach Housing Authority is not taking applications for Section 8 or Public Housing. Our waiting list is closed. We do not have a definite date of when the list will be opened again. However, when the waiting list is open there will be an advertisement in the Palm Beach Post’s Classified section under the Legal Postings.

Applications

Beginning Monday May 19, 2008, the West Palm Beach Housing Authority accepted applications. Completed applications should be delivered by U.S. MAIL on or before June 16, 2008. The WPBHA will not consider applications that are delivered after the application deadline.

All applications delivered by U.S. MAIL by the June 16, 2008 deadline will be sorted by preference and randomly assigned a position on the Waiting List according to bedroom size. You will be contacted by the Housing Authority for an interview when a suitable unit becomes available.

Please note, applications may NOT be dropped off, faxed or sent electronically. Only those applications delivered by the U.S. Postal Service will be processed.
