Section 8 Veterans Housing Voucher ProgramThe West Palm Beach Housing Authority (WPBHA) administers this program, established by Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which serves homeless veterans with disabilities and/or severe psychiatric and/or substance abuse disorders. The program combines an allocation of Section 8/HCVP rental vouchers from HUD with ongoing case management and clinical services provided by Veterans Administration Supportive Housing (VASH). Services include: housing search assistance; community-based management services; outpatient health services; hospitalization; and other services on a regular basis. Not all applicants may receive services. Homeless disabled veterans who are Section 8/ HCVP are all eligible. Application processAdmission is by referral only: VA Medical Center Contact Gary
