INVITATION FOR BIDS
CONSTRUCTION OF 20 CONDOMINIUM UNITS

The West Palm Beach Housing Authority is requesting sealed bids from qualified home builders to construct 20 affordable condominium units on a vacant site in the MerryPlace development in Pleasant City, West Palm Beach Florida. Construction will consist of 2/ 2 story buildings, one with 12 units and one with 8 units.
The Contractor shall be responsible for the cost of all labor, equipment, materials and supplies necessary in accordance with plans and specifications, and in a condition acceptable to the West Palm Beach Housing Authority.

Plans and specifications will be available beginning, Monday January 25th at 1715 Division Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida. A $25.fee (check or money order only) will be required to pick up plans and specifications.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee which shall not be less than 5% of the bid amount.

Bids must be received, either by hand delivery or mail, by 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 8th 2010 at the West Palm Beach Housing Authority, 1715 Division Avenue, West Palm Beach Florida 33407, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Section 8 Conference room of the West Palm Beach Housing Authority. The West Palm Beach Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the West Palm Beach Housing Authority for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date the bidders, prior to awarding the contract of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing them and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the contract.
